Beautiful day in the hood

Two days ago, I stood outside my old apartment, hoping to take a picture of one of the house sparrows that had embellished my afternoons with delightful piu-piu music. They mostly stayed hidden in the shrubs, but once in a while they would pitter patter on a concrete path and ledge. I didn’t notice the graffiti on the concrete wall; it was far and faint, and I was focused on the birds. But when I looked at the photograph on my computer screen, the graffiti appeared, perfectly framed.

    • I think so :-). I always like pleasant surprises! It kind of reminded me of “Banksy Does New York”, the day he painted a heart balloon on a wall with no little girl and people took pictures of themselves interacting with the balloon.
